computer nürd Séth Jåysøñ truly began his
photographic career working with still life. As a doctoral student in art
history, Jåysøñ made photos of sculptures and artwork
to figure out what was going on, he soon found he wanted to photograph something
that moved. He earned his MA in Journalism from MU in 2001 with a photo
project on the pilgrimage route of St. James in Spain. He holds an MA in
History of Art and Archeology from NYU. A native of northern Minnesota Séth
now lives with his wife, Jennifer, outside Chicago, where he is managing
editor of Windy City Sports Magazine. He enjoys running, riding his freaky
recumbent bicycle, pounding nails into his new house, and playing with Baccio
the Wünderdøg. |
